Hi, everyone! Hope you're having a great week :) Today I'm dedicating this post to the Everybody, Everywear challenge! This month's winner is colored tights and even though the weather over here right now doesn't lend itself to warm clothing (we're in the middle of spring and it has finally started getting warm enough to wear bare legs) I thought it'd be fun to participate. Because... who doesn't love colored tights?! ;)
Anyway, I think Kermit The Frog was right: It's not easy being green. You see, I love colored tights and I have a few of different colors: purple, blue, brown, burgundy, black, white, grey and green. And even though I enjoy wearing all of them, I think the green ones are probably the hardest ones to remix. I've worn them twice since I got them and both times I wore them with green flats and a denim skirt... pretty boring, you say? Probably. So for this challenge I decided to try them on with something different:
So I wore them with a white shirt and a flowery skirt from Zara, and with my pair of brown oxfords...
Can you tell the tights are green? I didn't even think about my green-painted closet doors...
But I must say I'm pretty happy about the way this outfit turned out... I probably would have never worn these tights with this skirt had it not been for the challenge. I know, I still have a long way to go in the remixing department. But I'm learning every day! ;) And that's thanks to challenges like this and to all the awesome outfits we get to see in the EBEW website and the different blogs we follow. Thanks so much for the daily inspiration :)
See you next time!

Taking it Literal: Since I made a Kermit the Frog reference in the post, it only makes sense to share the video of him singing his famous song, wouldn't you agree? :) So, take it away, Kermit!

Beautiful skirt! And yes, you can tell the tights are green. I really like your outfit :)
Aww, thank you so much for your sweet comment and for stopping by, Anjali! :)
Don't you love being challenged by these things? They make me more daring and better at remixing too. I can totally tell your tights are green, kind of a teal maybe? Either way, they're CUTE :)
Hi! Yes, absolutely! These challenges are great, I love to check on the results each month and find out what particular piece of clothing was the winner, it's a lot of fun, hehe. I think the tights are a bit darker than teal, but oh my! I would love to have a pair of teal-colored tights! Hehe. Thanks so much for reading and for leaving a comment! :)
teehee I think Kermit the Frog would definately agree that you look very lovely in those green tights ^^. I think it was a fantastic pairing with that clean white skirt, totally contrasting but in such a lovely way =)

You are the cutest! I always feel all Kermity when I wear my green tights too. Or I believe according to my little sister, Elphaba (From Wicked). But they are fun, so who cares?! :)
Aww, thank you so much for stopping by and your lovely comment, Renee!! I love the "Wicked" reference you used! Haha :) And tights are totally fun, I agree!
